29.5 x 20cm, Unpaginated artist’s book with integrated text and original lithographic illustrations. Complete in unique grey card covers – each of which was spray painted and hand coloured by Hiller herself – thus each within the edition is unique. One of a limited edition of 750 copies. Hiller’s oeuvre has stressed female solidarity, considered shared Jungian collective unconsciousnesses and her “After the Freud Museum” book (and series of related object multiples) soon became an essential artist’s publication. Here the pages reproduce automatic writings created by Hiller during a “trance”. Fine estate although this example does not have the original title label usually found tipped on the book’s front – but investigation suggests that it never did have and was issued thus – probably a collation mistake and is priced thus. Scarce.
