B/w and colour Xerox as issued – the exhibition catalogue and artist’s book issued by the artist in his typical home-made condition – here being a conversation between him and Alison Gingeras. Thirteen colour reproductions of works/installations and 26 in b/w in the text. Hirschhorn can easily be catagorised on one hand as a “green” or environmental artist because of his utilisation of recycled materials but he is much more than that – his work considers the connections between things (both material and immaterial), people and places. Fine. Small limitation one presumes as it is a item not encountered easily.
