First trade issue of this frenetic Surrealist work by Mansour. The abstract designed by Alechinsky at once undermine and add a subjective edge to the proceedings with every page illustrated on the upper half of the book. There is also on the inner French fold a surrealist drawing of the author by Pierre Molinier. A close to fine example. This copy one of 1,750 on offset sirene although there is a seven line dedication by Mansour again probably for Jageur – “pour Edouard et Hermine les souvenirs passes et futurs de leur amie amoureuse de l’amitie, Joyce, Paris decembre 1969”.
