Paris: Galerie Stadler, 1972
Three separate silkscreens each 59 x 39cm two are black on thick paper and one is black on a highly reflective mirror paper. The three images of a skeleton posed differently in each print (based on a gold lacquered human skeleton the artist used to create a unique similarly titled sculpture).
The prints are each signed and numbered by Journiac (although this like many of the sets do not have the same number from the edition on each – here ).
There is a tiny corner missing on the bottom left of one print else these are VG+ although there is a slight sheen of surface water damage on the reflective silver if looked at from an angle.
A genuine rarity by an artist whose works are rarely encountered in part because he did not create that much.
PRICE IS FOR ALL THREE PRINTS AS A SET.
