10.5 x 15cm, 2pp commercial colour postcard with a view of an Italian landscape. Over that image the Arte Nuclear/surrealist artist Enrico Baj has painted a monster and a bird and the word “bon”. On the reverse side the card is addressed to the important London gallerist Victor Musgrave who was the force behind Gallery One and sent to him by the important surrealist painter (and friend of Baj) ELT Messens. The painting is signed in blue ink on the written side by Baj. An unique work probably from the early 60s. Fine although a mailed card. Image on request.
