28 x 21cm, 66pp plus pictorial covers. A single number of this art journal which has a number of articles relating to Beuy’s installation in Documenta 7 of the Honigpumpe (honeypump) – a large scale metaphor for energy flow which consisted of honey being transported through a series of metal pipes. The magazine has four articles in it relating to Beuys, the honeypump and the artist’s place in the history of German art by Rene Weiland, Jan Robert Boch, Khosrow Nosratian, Hans-Joachim Lenger and a 4pp article by Beuys himself. There are also nine large b/w reproductions of photographs of Beuys in the installation what we have not seen before elsewhere and the cover image is also a full page image of the artist’s hands making a drawing.
