Two Volumes in grey card slipcase. Each volume is 21 x 28cm approx. Both are 208pp plus wrappers. French folds with coloured stripes (green and orange) at the front of each book. The documentation of Buren’s long term intervention into the Paris Metro where during the period 1970-73 striped posters were added to adverts in over a hundred stations. Around 400 b/w images all printed recto only. Texts in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish. The internal books are VG+ but sadly the same cannot be said of the unprinted grey slip-case where there are tears, paper lacks in all corners although this seems to be a common flaw to copies of this artist’s book (see picture). Priced to reflect damage to slipcase.
