(1987) 84 x 59.5cm, full colour offset with an image of discarded plastic and glass bottles next to a road and a text " WENN MAN BEDENKT DASS DER MENSCH ZU 70% AUS WASSER BESTEHT." that loosely translates to "AND TO THINK MEN ARE 70% WATER". Staeck's political posters can often be seen as promoting the Green Party during federal and other elections. VG+.

DER GROSSTE SCHWINDEL SEIT DER FARBE GRUN. 1992.

Heidelberg: Edition Staeck, n.d. (1992) 84 x 59.5cm, full colour offset with an image of a pile of rubbish and a text " DER GROSSTE SCHWINDEL SEIT DER FARBE GRUN" that translates to "THE BIGGEST SCANDAL SINCE THE COLOUR GREEN". The print was designed by Staeck to protest what he saw as a fraudulent publicity campaign to pretend that major corporations were recycling material (the Grune Puckt symbol being added to packaging to suggest this. The poster garnered the attention of the »Firma Duales System Deutschland für Abfallavoidance and Secondary Raw Material Production Ltd. (DSD)« who owned the copyright on the symbol and threatened Staeck with a fine of DM200,000. Staeck refuted this and after some correspondence between lawyers, the FDSFA dropped their claim. A major victory for the artist. VG+.
