22 x 33 x 6.5, two part, hinged plastic box with 16 compartments - each containing things - well let's be honest here - to be put up your bum - including a cigar, a bullet, ear plug, fake eyes, etc etc. Thankfully unused. Content varied in every box - hence each box was unique. A very rare Fluxus box in fantastic condition. The contents of each box differed. This example additionally is signed in ink by Miller on a label attached to the bottom of the top box. Maciunas designed label on outside of box. This is the first edition - not the later (usually smaller) Reflux edition or the re-edition Millar created himself using smaller boxes in the 70s. Very scarce and unique thus.

12 x 9 x 2cm, two part custom plastic box (white lower section and transparent upper) content of a number of single elements each from one of the other Reflux boxes - such as a mirror from the Ono Box of Smile, the badge from Friends Garnisht Kigele, some page inserts and event cards from Brecht and Riddle, some white power from Knizak's Fluxus White Meditation, seeds and beads from Brecht's bead puzzle, a key from the Burglary Fluxkit, two playing cards - Ben and Maciunas - and so on and so on, This was the assemblage catalogue for sale at an exhibition of the Reflux works at New York's printed matter. All the elements are original vintage items from Maaciunas's own stocks. This is internally fine but one of the plastic tabs which form the hinge on the two parts of the box is broken off - the box still closes firmly but we have priced this to take account of the damage. Additionally there is a list of all the Reflux boxes published by Barbara Moore. Very scarce - actually even more difficult to find than some of the Reflux boxes themselves.

4 x 6.2cm. 41pp approx.,stapled. Shiomi took stills from the title film by Ono and created a flip-book of disappearing smiles as per Maciunas in c. 1968. This was one of a small continuation edition of only 79 copies created by Shiomi from vintage items in
2002. Fine.

Approx. 3.5 x 5.7 x 2 cm., offset-printed paper matchbox, containing a multitude of vintage tiny printed papers ("snowflakes") which on opening are thrown/dropped into the air as the bottom of the inner box has been cut away. Some boxes in this Reflux edition are vintage, some slightly later but from the original source (the Japanese gift shop Azuma in New York City) - the box here is a rather lovely lenticular image of swimming fishes which can be moved back and forth to show a different angle of the scene. Each matchbox within the edition was unique. Now very scarce even as a second or "continuation" edition.

Vintage Maciunas-designed label with detailed instructions on how to use the box. Sadly one hing on the back of the box has become broken (the boxes Maciunas sourced were always cheap and fragile). Priced thus.
