21 x 14cm, 224pp. Boards with dustjacket. Monograph on the work of Nash's colleague in the Second Situationist International; Hardy Strid. The artist was a major force for modernism in Denmark and was a co-founder of the Co-Rictus group (which along with Wolf Vostell could lay claim to be the original graffiti / street artists at one point appropriating an unused 300 foot commercial street billboard and overnight turning it into an abstract mural although two members of the group - Nash and Thorsen were arrested for their troubles; Strid and Kunzelmann were mixing paint at the time in the gallery opposite and completed the work). Many many full colour and full page illustrations of works which suggest Strid's influences were much more pop than Cobra and extensive documentation of articles in journals, books etc and a major index / tabulation of all of the works of Strid and their media. This copy is signed by Nash and also by Strid (the latter at a slightly later date). Fine association copy of this useful and rather wonderful reference.

Paris: Centre de création, 1952

22.8 x 17.9cm, 286pp. Original wrappers with a cover design by Gabriel Pomerand. Essentially the manifesto and theoretical basis for all Letteriste and Situationist cinema. Texts include "Esthétique du cinéma" by Isidore Isou, "Cinéma nucléaire" by Marc'O, "Hurlements en faveur de Sade" by G. E. (Guy) Debord, "Tambours du jugement premier" by Dufrêne, "La légende cruelle" by Gabriel Pomerand, "L'Anticoncept" by Wolman and shorter articles by Y. du Luart, Serge Berna, Poucette, Monique Geoffroy. The plates show portraits of Isou, Poucette, Pomerand, Wolman, Berna, Y. du Luart, M. Geoffroy. Berréby and the famous first published image of Debord looking louche.

Minor wear to edges and spine with minor tears. Internally pages are browned (as always). The cover is in excellent condition with no fading as the book has been kept in a glassine envelope. The book was lent to the filmmaker Christian Jamicot by Gil Wolman and on the book's return Jamicot has left a signed note to Wolman in ink thanking him on the glassine envelope. A correspondence copy and in much better condition than usually found. The glassine envelope is somewhat torn but still protects the book.

22.8 x 17.9cm, 286pp. Original wrappers with a cover design by Gabriel Pomerand. essnetially the manifesto and theoretical basis for all Letteriste and Situationist cinema.
The front is heavily faded and there is wear to edges and spine with minor tears. Internally pages are browned (as always). Pages 120 to 122 have a closed tear with no paper loss. Back cover is mostly very good. Priced to reflect these imperfections. Rare and important.

Bristol: DIalogue of the Deaf, 1983

21 x 15cm, 32pp plus card covers. A comic review (albeit factual) on the various far-left groupings existing in Britain in 1983. The variety of idiocy is amazing including the Posadas grouping who had such an incredible leader that he was able to write newspaper articles in advance of his death relating to current events. The predictive power of dialectical materialism was never as strong. Other groups surveyed include Militant Tendency, Socialist Workers Party, International Marxist Group, Workers Revolutionary Party, Spartacist League, Big Flame, Official IRA, Solidarity, Chartists, ILP, London Labour Briefing and more. Interesting how many of these groups no longer exist. Francis Boyle cartoon on the front cover. Some browning to the cheap paper internally and a small stain from coffee on the back cover else VG+. Fairly sort after.
