12 inch, LP record in 31.2 x 31 cm gatefold printed sleeve and printed inner sleeve. Artist's collaborative record with Monk, Gordon and others rocking out. The record was regarded as the exhibition catalogue for the group show. Slight wear to sleeve otherwise fine. Rare.

SAILING INTO SAN FRANCISCO THREE SAILORS & ONE TATTOO. 2000.

San Francisco : Jack Hanley Gallery, 2000.
10 x 14.7cm, outer pictorial wrappers with internally 16 b/w photographs taken by Jonathan Monk's cousin Tony who was a British sailer in the Royal Navy - the images show the approach into San Francisco from the sea and images of the city. Monk is often drawn to images and thoughts of his family and this record of a past adventure was published in 1,000 copies at the time of an exhibition in the same city by Monk. VG+.

10.5 x 15cm, 2pp editioned colour postcard with a photograph of Monk standing on the large scale Daniel Buren public art installation in the Royal Palace, Paris. The image was taken by Pierre Bismuth and Monk has added a yellow post-it note with the text "This is by Pierre Bismuth" in pencil and on the back of the card he has signed it in full again in pencil. VG+.

42 x 30cm, full colour exhibition poster with an appropriated image of a 60s or 50s glamour girl holding a balloon with the title text of the exhibition on it. A joint show with Monk's friend Douglas Gordon. Folded for shipping. Signed by boldly by Monk in blue felt tipped pen. VG+.

MEETING #22. 2001. WITH HAND-WRITTEN NOTE BY MONK ON REVERSE.

London: Lisson Gallery/Sculpture Matters, 2001 10 x 21cm, 2pp. A paper multiple issued with a reproduction of a wall work by Monk - a proposed meeting in California in 2006. Issued in an unlimited edition. On the reverse there is a note from Monk in blue pen: "Dear Paul/Please find enclosed cheque for Buren stripe poster - yours - Jonathan". VG+.

84 x 60cm, artist designed poster and announcement with a b/w photograph of Monk posing after the famous photograph of Ed Ruscha covered in his books (although here Monk is covered in books by Sol Lewitt). Folded for posting as issued – this example is signed in pencil by Monk. The exhibition showed six films by Monk relating to Lewitt. Fine.

20 x 13.5cm, folded size. Opens to 60 x 80cm approx. Artist designed poster with a photograph of Monk being covered by some of his artist's books by Sol Lewitt. The image is very similar to a famous promotional image of Ed Ruscha covered in his own books. This copy is unusually signed in pencil by Monk on the reverse of the poster. Fine although folded as issued.

Verso gallery details. A mailed example sent to Monk himself by the gallery. This card has been signed by Jonathan in blue ink on the back. VG+.

13 x 12cm, unpaginated (approx. 48pp) plus card covers. Artist’s book consisting of reproduced letters created by (Danish variety) potato print that read sequentially POTATO PRINT SPELLS POTATO PRINT. This is one of 500 copies but this is signed in pencil by Monk on the half title page. Fine.

NONE OF THE BUILDINGS ON SUNSET STRIP. 2002.

Frankfurt: Revolver, 2002
20.5 x 15.5cm, unpagainated (80pp) plus wrappers and printed semi-opaque dust-wrapper which is printed on both sides (so that some text is read through the paper). Monk's artist book displays the gaps between the blocks on the Sunset Strip - thus "filling in" the bits of the street that were not reproduced in Ed Ruscha's famous original photo-book. One of 500 published but this is a hard to find publication. Some minor wear to the dustjacket and the odd small strain but else VG+.

London: South London Gallery, 2002 15 x 21cm, 2pp. Announcement card for a group show with Joost Conikn, mark Dean, marko Maetamm, Arturas Raila, Milica Tomic and Sarah Tripp as well as Monk. On the front of the card is a Monk "meeting" work - "Fez's Cafe 42 Peckham Road London Thursday 18 July 2002 breakfast". This card is signed in red ink on the back by Monk. VG+.

23 x 15cm colour photographic print - displaying an image of Monk's hand holding up a commercial postcard of Arnold Schwarzenegger Stadium which is in flames. One of a series of editioned photographs by Monk in an unstated limitation. Verso this example is unusually signed in blue ink by the artist and has a title label displaying the date and the museum (Grazer Kunstverein, Graz and 2002) where the work was created. VG.
