Dublin: Temple Bar Outside Visual Arts, 2000

15 x 15cm, 8pp. Promotional programme / announcement for the Irish Premiere of Cremaster 2 which was shown outdoors in the Meeting House Square. Two colour images (Norman Mailer as Harry Houdini and the cowboy line dancers) and short texts. Mailer was in part chosen, of course, as an actor in the film due to his original book The Executioner's Song about Gary Gilmore - and Barney's film is, in part, a consideration about Gilmore's decision to be shot by the state as an attempt to be allowed to enter his Mormon heaven as he believe such an execution counted as a blood atonement. Amazing logic but there again this was a religious person who had murdered two people so why expect reason. Fine! Fine.

Announcement/programme and small poster for Weiner's 28 minute film staged on his house boat with 12 small b/w film stills on the back with texts in Dutch and English and a single colour image on the open side. Very good +. Scarce Weiner ephemera.

Manchester: ESEA, 2025 21 x 15cm, 2pp announcement card for the video installation showing a modern cartoon version of a traditional "battle" between fruits based on Uighur poetry and Sufi cosmologies. Unusually the card was only for sale at the exhibition and no distributed for free as most invite cards are. VG+.

The first commercial film by Hershmann which looks at the role of Ada Lovelace (Byron's daughter) in the development fo the world'ss first computational machine (computer). Starring Tilda Swinton. Laid in: 5 x 9cm, 1pp business card for Hershman with verso a hand written note: "With Appreciation Lynn (Heart)". Not currently for sale.
