Announcement/programme and small poster for Weiner's 28 minute film staged on his house boat with 12 small b/w film stills on the back with texts in Dutch and English and a single colour image on the open side. 21 x 15cm, 2pp announcement card for the video installation showing a modern cartoon version of a traditional "battle" between fruits based on Uighur poetry and Sufi cosmologies. Unusually the card was only for sale at the exhibition and no distributed for free as most invite cards are. VG+.

21 x 230cm, black and white silver gelatine photograph from original negative showing Jack Smith, Barbara Rubin & Jonas Mekas at the  Filmmakers' Cinematheque in 1967

This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.

15 x 14.5cm, 4pp announcement card for Taylor Wood's five-screen laser disc projection + sound intallation. "On each screen the private universe of a set of diverse characters is revealed: a middle-aged woman walks around a London square, an older man sits alone in the dark, a man wanders through his minimalist home, a young woman gets drunk by herself in a bar, and a second young, dishevelled man restlessly paces a private courtyard. Unravelling a symphony of discordant voices, the viewer observes the exclamations, accusations and ravings of each character." Two colour images on the front and back of the actors. This was Taylor Wood's breakthrough work that gained a lot of attention and her first solo exhibition. 1996

30 x 21cm, 2pp black on pink mimeographic leaflet - the handout for the UK premiere of Werner Herzhog's Fitzcarraldo. The film starred the frankly mad Klaus Kinski who as part of an attempt to set up an opera house in the Amazon jungle has the local indigenous people carry a passenger ship up over a mountain (to prove he can access the land as part of a trading deal). The film became known (later) as a contentious project - the abuse/exploitation of local peoples as well as Kinski's close to murderous rages against the rest of the cast and crew (and director) became notorious. years later Kinski was revealed to have abused his own daughter Natasha - an actress in her own right. He may have created some memorable roles in film but personally he was foul. VG+.

32 x 23.5cm, 2pp full colour announcement leaflet/small poster - verso the same image as used on the original film poster , recto: a resume of the original film and false critical statements about it. The leaflet was publicity for the Situationist's experimental film which simply showed the Hong Kong original with the sound removed and Vienet's dubbed voice over laying political texts and obtuse sub-titles (in French). The entire appropriation being a experiment in cinematic detournment. Fine.

10.5 x 15cm, 1pp typographic announcement card for showings of films and works by Wolf Vostell. This documentation exhibition was organised by Bickhard Bottinelli who has over-stamped in red ink the card with the texts "Fluxus Sahara/Bottinelli 76". VG+.
