<p class="p1"><span class="s1">15 x 15cm, 8pp. Promotional programme / announcement for the Irish Premiere of Cremaster 2 which was shown outdoors in the Meeting House Square. Two colour images (Norman Mailer as Harry Houdini and the cowboy line dancers) and short texts. Mailer was in part chosen, of course, as an actor in the film due to his original book The Executioner's Song about Gary Gilmore - and Barney's film is, in part, a consideration about Gilmore's decision to be shot by the state as an attempt to be allowed to enter his Mormon heaven as he believe such an execution counted as a blood atonement.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Amazing logic but there again this was a religious person who had murdered two people so why expect reason. Fine! Fine. </span></p>]]></description>
