15 x 17cm, 16pp including wrappers. Stapled. Exhibition catalogue for a solo show by the Cobra artist Strid with a foreword by Jorgen Nash in Swedish (Handen och ogat). There are 53 works listed with 4 black and white illustrations and a full colour lithograph inside the back cover. Very slight browning to the white of the cover else VG+. Scarce.

14.5 x 22.8cm, black and green offset letterhead created for the vastly important "First World Congress of Free Artists" which brought together Enrico Baj, Jacques Calonne, Constant, Giuseppe Pinot Gallizio, Asger Jorn, Piero Simondo, Ettore Sottsass Jr, Elena Verrone (from the International Movement for an Imaginist Bauhaus), Gil J. Wolman (from the Lettrist International/Potlatch), Sandro Cherchi, Franco Garelli  , Jan Kotik, Pravoslav Rada (Czechoslovakia), Charles Estienne, and Klaus Fischer to discuss joint projects.

The importance of this meeting cannot be underwritten - it brought together many of the main currents of the European International Avant Garde and laid the foundations for the eventual formation of the International Situationists.

25.5 x 20cm, 6pp typographic design exhibition catalogue for a relatively early Appel exhibition of new paintings. There is a poem by Christopher Logue (The song of Emigration) and a short preface by Herbert Read as well as a lengthy introduction by Christian Dotremont. Nineteen works are listed from 1951 to 1956. Also mention of a second exhibition at Galerie Stadler in Paris opening just weeks after the ICA show. Minor edge wear and low levels of browning else VG+.
