A continuous early run of this important art journal that was initiated from Stephane Elizabeth from her  Galerie les Contemporains, along with her son Stepháne and daughter Anne-Marie.  The first issue (included here) was published on the occasion of the Düsseldorf Art Fair in October 1973. Contributions are from by Jospeh Beuys (2 covers), Marcel Broodthaers (3 covers), André Cadere, Charlier, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Anne and Patrick Poirier, Ulay & Marina Abramovic, Ian Hamilton Finlay and others.

Early numbers of this journal are hard to find and this early run is not available elsewhere that we know of.

20 x 18cm, 88pp (self cover). The Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazine has a tradition of the 46th number being dedicated to a single artist. Here the artist is Sophie Calle with a long essay and interview in German and many golour and b/w images of works. One of the harder to find numbers in the series. VG+.

15 x 21cm, 2pp announcement card with a full colour image of Cosey in her modeling years sorting out her costume, verso gallery details. VG+.

8 x 8 x 8cm, chinese wooden trick box content (once opened) of a piece of vintage Tokyo map and a card signed and numbered by Ono.

The map of Tokyo in from the end of the 20th century and was divided into 36 with each box having a different piece. Only 32 boxes were made in this manner. This is nr 20. VG+ in original card shipping box.

20 x 16 x 15cm, black lacquer box with drawer content of 50 printed envelopes and fifty plastic hand-made flies.  There is a silver title plaque on the box. The work is meant to store the flies at the top of the box and the owner is encouraged to send individual flies in the supplied envelope to other individuals as a mail art work.

This is one of 81 signed and numbered examples (on a colophon sheet) by Ono. Fine.
