34.5 x 25 cm, pagination varies, 34 different numbers (including 3 double issues - nrs 21/22. 23/24, 32/33 and special nr 12 bis) plus nr 39. All = 85. A continuous early run of this important art journal that was initiated from Stephane Elizabeth from her Galerie les Contemporains, along with her son Stepháne and daughter Anne-Marie. The first issue (included here) was published on the occasion of the Düsseldorf Art Fair in October 1973. Contributions are from by Jospeh Beuys (2 covers), Marcel Broodthaers (3 covers), André Cadere, Charlier, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Anne and Patrick Poirier, Ulay & Marina Abramovic, Ian Hamilton Finlay and others.

Very slight marking / browning on the odd issue but overall VG++.

50.5 × 40 cm (paper size), full colour heliogravure on light cardboard. The first of Richter's landscapes based on photographs of the Canery island that he took from the air in 1969. Signed and dated in pencil by Richter. Now very scarce on the open market. This example is VG++ in a lovely walnut and glass frame.

Bremerhaven: Kabinett fur aktuelle Kunst, 1975
50 x 48 cm, exhibition poster with silkscreened gallery text along the bottom and tipped-on b/w offset plate (approx 12.5 x 16cm) displaying the title oil painting of a seescape from 1975.Â As with most posters from the Kabinett - the poster was designed by the artist and printed by the Kabinnet director Juergen Wessler himself on facilities in the basement of the Bremerhaven Kunstehalle basement and to keep costs down and because no more ere required typically only 50 or so posters were produced by this method. One slight mark left (see pic) but else VG. Very scarce indeed.

Berlin: Rene Block, 1968
45 x 32 cm lithograph in two shades of grey on white offset paper. A very early Richter print which was produced for the Block stand at the Koln Art Fair in 1968. One of only 150 signed and numbered copies released: the image is of Richter's studio in Dusseldorff and is a typical blurred image from the artist's earliest style. Fine and very rare. Framed (conservationally) in glass and wood.

30 x 21cm, 4pp newsletter with a long text in German by Helmiut Rywelski which discusses events along with the announcement for Beuys' Tragetasche aus Polyäthylen mit filzplastik from 1971 and the portfolio Marksgrafik with works by Beuys, K.P. Brehmer, Michael Buthe, and others also from 1971. The Marksgrafik was sold for 10 DM at the time because of the publisher's opposition to rising prices in the artworld. One large b/w portrait of Rywelski lounging on a sofa on the first page.

VG+ but folded for mailing horizontally.

Brehmer, Claude Rutault, Bernd Koberling Klaus Bohmler, Jurgen Spohn, Siegfried Neuehausen, Bernd Koberling and Geza Perneczky. Four of the editions are illustrated.
