Paris: Elisabeth, Stepháne & Anne-Marie Rona. 1973 - 1981 34.5 x 25 cm, pagination varies, 34 different numbers (including 3 double issues - nrs 21/22. 23/24, 32/33 and special nr 12 bis) plus nr 39. All = 85. A continuous early run of this important art journal that was initiated from Stephane Elizabeth from her Galerie les Contemporains, along with her son Stepháne and daughter Anne-Marie. The first issue (included here) was published on the occasion of the Düsseldorf Art Fair in October 1973. Contributions are from by Jospeh Beuys (2 covers), Marcel Broodthaers (3 covers), André Cadere, Charlier, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Anne and Patrick Poirier, Ulay & Marina Abramovic, Ian Hamilton Finlay and others. Early numbers of this journal are hard to find and this early run is not available elsewhere that we know of. NYC: New York Avant Garde Festival, 1971

73 x 37cm, full colour publicity poster for Moorman's annual festival featuring over 200 artists (all named on the poster) and offering performances and shows in all the artistic disciplines. The festival was based in the 69th Regiment Infantry Armory in Manhattan. The poster has various red hand applied rubber stamp impressions.

This is a mailed and folded copy of the poster. Very good condition although folded for mailing. This is one of the more difficult posters to find.

28 x 33cm. Offset lithographic poster for a theatre event in Ben's Centre D'Art Total on 27th March 1964 which includes "20 happenings", action poems by Ben and Pierre Pontani and an experimental musical concert which included jazz and classical music. Formerly folded but overall VG+. Scarce.

Very good+. One of the scarcer posters from the event to find for some unknown reason.

N.p.: n.p., n.d. 30 x 21cm, black and white silver gelatine photograph from original negative showing Claus Oldenburg performing Ray Gun Specs in his painted environment in 1960. One of the first every happenings and an early pop art performance event. This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.
