N.p. (NYC): s.p. (Leibowitz), 1994
9 x 5cm, 1pp "Lecture Pass" ticket for the Leibowitz's famous comedic lectures where he would discuss "really embarrassing moment, secret sexual fetish, too, too, personal, personal experience or just something that, most likely, everyone will laugh at". This example printed blue on blue. Very scarce. The ticket is regarded as an object multiple by the artist. Candyass was the artist's alter ego or nom de plume.

30 x 21cm, 16pp self cover. Exhibition guide/catalogue for the annual UK arts prize - which was won by Gillian Wearing. Each artist has 2pp of essays and photographs of the works submitted and there are 24 small colour images of the various works. this was the first and only time there had been an all woman shortlist for the prize - with Christine Borland, Angela Bulloch and Cornelia Parker joining Wearing as competitors. Very good although slightly former price label stain on front cover which could be removed with care.

Bordeaux: s.p. (Molinier), n.d. (1959)

13.5 x 9cm, 2pp b/w artist designed postcard depicting the drawing of Les femmes actuelles (which Moliner also turned into a well known oil painting). The reverse of the card has a unsigned text in Molinier's very formal handwriting: &quot;Je m'offre a vos crelegues (? hard to read) Sympathie L'exposition Internationale du Surrealisme Paris 1959 - 1960&quot; and is addressed to a Monsieur C. Remongin, 14 rue Henner, Paris 9.

The card was one used by Molinier to promote his Atelier Du Grenier St Pierre and contains his MDVETDCS monogram (which he often incorporated into his paintings in lieu of a signature). The reverse of the card is a little browned but this is otherwise a wonderful small item and typical<br />of the artist's obsession with the female form. The reference in the note is to Molinier's participation in the highly significant EROS exhibition - the last great international surrealist event and the first collective surrealist show where Molinier exhibited. Moliner as an old man committed suicide by hanging himself in his apartment although rather decently leaving a note on his door alerting the police to his action in order to stop his female concierge from having the terrible experience of finding his dead body.

Few primary documents from Molinier come on the market in part due to the enthusiasm of one particular French collector who gained much of Molinier's archive soon after his death and has (to his credit) kept it mostly intact. An unique item.

Vancouver: Image Bank, 1974
35.5 x 35.5cm, four colour silkscreen on board. The image was created by Michael Morris and Vincent Trasov to commemorate the Decca Dance that took place in the same year. It is a landscape view of Elks Building Hollywood where the Dance took place.

The Decca Dance was held to celebration of the (fictional) 1,000,011th anniversary of Art (as decided upon by Robert Filliou) and was organised by Image Bank as well as by Lowell Darling, Willoughby Sharp, Ant Farm, General Idea and the Western Front. There was an ornate stage show,: "a parody of the Academy Awards, featured a male chorus resplendent in tuxedos and Shark Fin Bathing Caps moving in stately symmetry to the inimitable crooning of androgyne Pascal. It could be said to mark the peak of the mail art movement and for many signalled the end of it."

This is one of 300 hand numbered in pencil copies and is stamped Image Bank on the back - the work is titled in pencil also. VG+ condition and rather beautiful.

SF: s.p. (Acker), 1973

21 x 15cm, 24pp (Self cover). This is one part of 6 volumes of The Childlike Life of the Black Tarantula which were self-published and distributed by Kathy Acker prior to the later publication as a single book. In this form the novel was presented in six serialized parts, usually mailed to subscribers, friends, and potentially interested parties. This is a remarkably hard to find item and can be seen as the third publication Acker released. The text is a lesbian love story based on fantasies and stories found in V. Laduc's Therese and Isabelle a`nd Acker's own schoolgirl experiences. VG if very slight grubbiness around the wrappers.
