21 x 30cm, 16pp stapled offset b/w programme for the 1980 show. The programme notes a huge number of participants exhibiting art at the New York's Passenger Ship Terminal including Eric Andersen, Ay-o, John Cage, Christo, Philip Corner, Yoko Ono, Ben Patterson, Knud Petersen, Otto Piene, Klaus Groh, Geoffrey Hendricks, Ray Johnson, Milan Knizak, Alison Knowles, Richard Kostelanetz, Takehisa Kosugi, Carolee Schneemann, Mieko Shiomi, Ben Vautier and details of a "Group Hologram Show" and a "Group Audio Show" which included David Tudor, John Giorno, Takehisa Kosugi, Yoshi Wada and others.

Also there was "Six Sure Cycles of Poetry Performances" which included Jackson Mac Low and Opal L. Nations, and "Two Continuous 12 =-Hour Video Tape Shows" which included works by Jeff Byrd, Nancy Holt, Nam June Paik with Charlotte Moorman (Guadalcanal Requiem), Shigeko Kubota, and Les Levine.

These are just a percentage of the huge number of artists who were involved in the Festival and one has to be impressed by Moorman's organisation of such an event. VG+.

23 x 14cm, 183pp. Cloth covered boars with a dustjacket sporting a reproduction of Hockney's portrait of Melly. The first edition of this memoir which covers Melly's days as a sailor, sodomite, surrealophile and songster. As usual with this title the dj is somewhat tatty at the top and browned with age (poor quality paper) but internally this is near fine. This copy of this robust and good humoured literal self-portrait (which is mostly without conceit) has a three line dedication in ink signed by Melly. The actual portrait of Melly on the dustjacket is by David Hockney.

21 x 15cm, 4pp. The concert programme for this week long series of performances which included Allan Kaprow who created a "Happening fur Kinder" every morning , Charlotte Moorman (Performing Paik works such as "Fernseh-Cello" alongside jazz bands. VG+. Very scarce.

12 x 8.5cm, 24pp plus card covers. Artist's book with various song lyrics (with no particular theme - just songs the publisher liked) along with line drawings by Patterson. Songs include Dream of Life, A Fine Romance, and You Go To Your Head (Billy Holiday), Mashed Potatoes USA (James Brown), Skoda Lasky (Jiromir Vejvoda) and others. One of only 200 examples. VG+.
