29.2 x 21 m, 34 pp. plus card covers. Early artist's book with Gette's geological and biological investigations of the landscape from Chalon-sur-Saône to Le Creusot. "While the initial idea was to establish a linear proposal, the region I had to traverse quickly forced me, due to its structure, to modify this project. The study remained transect-linear, but a network of lines perpendicular to the chosen axis naturally defined what I would not hesitate to call the chapters of this work." Black and white photographs of the foliage and land formations and one map drawn by Gette. Some light fading to the front cover (due to sunning) and a former library mark internally which has been negated else VG. Internally VG+.

54.6 x 54.6cm, four colour lithograph displaying a pile of rubble from one of Smithson's non-sites. The work which was included in the "Artists and Photographs" box was then torn deliberately into four pieces by Smithson. One of 1,200 examples, which is strangely hard to find. Original glassine envelope is slightly worn but else VG+.

NYC: New York Avant Garde Festival, 1971

73 x 37cm, full colour publicity poster for Moorman's annual festival featuring over 200 artists (all named on the poster) and offering performances and shows in all the artistic disciplines. The festival was based in the 69th Regiment Infantry Armory in Manhattan. The poster has various red hand applied rubber stamp impressions.

This is a mailed and folded copy of the poster. Very good condition although folded for mailing. This is one of the more difficult posters to find.

15 x 15cm, 16pp. Original card wrappers. Exhibition brochure/handout from a wonderful retrospective of works by the performance artist and, one presumes, masochist Tehching Hsieh. Most famous for his one year actions where he lived outside any building for an entire 365 days, or clocked in every hour on a machine in his house or tied by a rope to Linda Montano for a year. VG.
