Three articles - "A propos de la Biennale", "La Systeme de la Peinture Semantique" and "La Systeme de la Situations". Two works reproduced in b/w by Suzanne Bernard and Lantazzi. VG+, Very scarce.

27 x 21cm, two sheets 2pp and 1pp respectfully. The second issue of the Lettrist International, published in February 1953, at thet time when the group had left Isou's main grouping and had added a number of new adherents such as Sarah Abouaf, Serge Berna, P. J. Berlé, J.-L. Brau, Leibé Midou Dahou, Guy-Ernest Debord, Linda, Françoise Lejare, Jean-Michel Mension, Eliane Papaï, and Gil J. Wolman all of whom signed the manifesto published herein. The publications also has texts by Debord, Wolman, and Jean-Michel Mension, and press cuttings concerning the contentious "Chaplin affair".

Both sheets have a  red stamp of the Lettrist International . This publication is usually found as a single sheet but here we include the far rarer second sheet with an extract of the public response of the International Letteristes to Chaplain's visit and their opposition to it and Isou's support.

The first sheet is a little browned but the second is far lighter. Both are VG+. Very scarce especially as two sheets.

27 x 20.8cm, 20 pp (includes slightly heavier paper weight cover). First edition of the second issue of this now very scarce journal, edited by Lemaitre and Isou (which only had three issues). Texts by Maurice Lemaître, Gabriel Pomerand, Jean-Louis Brau, Gil J. Wolman, Isidore Isou, most notably the preface to the film "Le film est déjà commencé" by Maurice Lemaître. UInternal pages are browned due to cheap paper, cover slightly so else VG+. Rare.

210 x 15cm, 2pp (unnumbered) plus cover. The first edition of this book of "interrupted" poems by Wolman. One of 300 copies which are 'signed' in the colophon with a facsimile of the initial W. A later second edition was released in 1991. VG+. Scarce.

23.5 x 5cm unique "Scotch-art” work by the Internationale Lettriste - using transparent adhesive tape the artist removed images from colour newspapers and transferted them to various backings; here hard wax, to create a form of collage.

This is one of a number of such works all called "Put a Wolman in your car".

This is unsigned but the original invoice is included which is titled, dated 1989 and handwritten and signed by Gil j Wolman. The back of the work is cracked but still intact and requires framing or repair but is not a problem for the front of the work. Such Scotch-Art works are very hard to find on the market.

88 x 60cm, large format poster issued during the " Œuvres pour chiens" (Work for Dogs) exhibition - the print has a number of drawings of dogs each with a speech bubble in the tradition of detournment. They discuss avant garde art and the exhibition. This is folded several times for mailing and is very boldly signed in pencil by Sabatier along the bottom of the print. The exhibition hung works only 40cm from the ground (pooch head height) and also included large femur bones and kibble. The speech that Sabatier made suggested that dogs were a worthy recipient of his art as much as people. A similar exhibition of that of Dieter Roth and Richard Hamilton in 1988 in Spain (which apparently was originally an idea of Marcel Broodthaers) but it appears the Lettriste did not know of the other show.  Scarce. VG+.

21 x 15cm, 1pp black on yellow  certificate/ticket to Sabatier's Reading Room where the artist presented a library of books along with handmade clothing in an exhibition. This was issued to attendees (here addressed to the curator Caterina Gualco) each with a unique number and signed by Sabatier at the bottom. Folded as issued else VG+.

13.3 x 19.5cm, 1pp printed offset card which has been cut from a larger sheet with tipped on label which has the title text "EN-CAS EXCOORDISTE DE ROLAND SABATIER" and initialled and dated. This was one of a number of small unique works issued during an exhibition in Italy curated by Caterina Gualco. VG+.
