28 x 21.5cm, 1pp political and art tract written by Lurie with the title hand-stencilled over the printed words. The leaflet was part of a street intervention where these No-posters" were overprinted on unused printer's "cleaning sheets" ie sheets of paper used to clean the machines usually taken from overrun print jobs and displaying several printings underneath with the word NO over them- hence creating a coincidental artwork "with no hand-work whatsoever in their execution. Whatever 'compensation' has resulted is of purely accidental character." This example is folded horizontally, some dog-ears and two closed tears along with fold and one staple - but a very rare document from the NO! Art Group.

Very scarce - one of only 200 examples.

21 x 30cm black and white silver gelatine photograph from original negative - a portrait of No! artists Boris Lurie and Tom Young.

This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.

42 x 58cm, full colour publicity poster for Moorman's annual festival featuring many artists however this poster (which has a very striking typographic design allied to a pictorial element of two passenger ships) does NOT list all of the participating artists as had been the tradition in earlier poster designs. But worry not list-junkies over 500 participants are listed verso including Shiomi, Kosugi, Friedman, Ay-o and others. Activities within the Festival by 1980 had expanded to include banners, inflatables, video art, paintings, films, jazz, poetry, holography, actions, sculpture, documentations, kinetic art, events, post card theatre, electronic music, projections, drama, environments, edible art, water pieces, dance, computer art, air art, structures, photography, synthesizer art, parades, costume art, rituals, performance art and laser projections. This is a mailed and folded copy of the poster. Very good condition taking into account the mailed aspect of this item.
