Germany: n.p. (Zeitschrift "Der architekt") n.d. 30 x 21cm, outer folded card with a printed dust jacket with an image by Chilida and internally 12 original b/w offset lithographic prints (four per artist) separated by red cards and with a foreword/introduction by Alfred Simon. JOINT 30 x 21CM, 1pp offset lithograph (with a reproduced Vaserely work) that has a mimeographed message wishing a happy new year (in German) to the recipient and a blind stamp. This is not mentioned in the literature and appears to be a festive gift from "Der architekt"to clients. Outer dust jacket a bit grubby and edge damage but the internal prints are VG+. Scarce.

16.4 x 11.3cm, unpaginated (32pp) plus card covers. First edition thus of this artist's book explaining the theory of negative and positive forms in art. Illustrated in colour and black & white with a text by Gualdini explaining Munari's contribution to Op Art. One of 1,500 (numbered in pencil) copies released. VG.

22 x 30 x 4cm, blue & black screen printing on light glossy card stock and acrylic sheet. Depending on the point of view and movement, the overlapping lines create a "moving" optical artwork. Very good example.

The middle double page spread has a silkscreen image of the artist on green card stock. Other pages have varying card stock - usually to create an interesting optical illusion via after image from the strong and stark b/w lithographs. 116 works listed in detail as being for sale. Very good condition.

Heidelberg: Kabinett Dr Hanna Grisebach, 1966 15 x 15cm, 4pp printed outer folded content of a 15 x 15cm, 1pp silkscreen plastic overlay which can be moved over the printed inner image to create a "moving" concrete visual poem or an optical work. There is a short biography of WIlding internally. The work also acts as an annoucnement card for the solo show of optical works. One slight mark on the outer folder else VG+. Scarce.

Haarlem, Schiedam, Groningen: Der Hallen/Stedilijk/Groningen Museums, 1969 10.5 x 29cm, 64pp. Original boards with a lenticular design on the front which causes an optical illusion of movement when the book is tilted. An exhibition of early optical art with contributions by Woody van Amen, Frans en Marja de Boer Lichtveld, Pieter Cornelisse, Huub Dröge, Jeroen Henneman, Frans Hermes, Arie Jansma, Leendert Janzee, Livinus, Karel Martens, Willem Marijs, Ber Mengels, Jan van Munster, Henk Peeters, Kees Roest, Gust Romijn, Wim T. Schippers, Jan Spit, Ray Staakman, Frans Verpoorten, Jos Wong en Johan van Zutphen. Each has a work in b/w reproduced full sheet. Some of the participants were associated with the Zero/Nul Group. This book was poorly designed and the page block in almost all copies has fallen away because it was glued (lumbeck binding) rather than a more secure design. This example suffers from the same fate - else it is VG. Priced to reflect this.
