All = 85. A continuous early run of this important art journal that was initiated from Stephane Elizabeth from her Galerie les Contemporains, along with her son Stepháne and daughter Anne-Marie. The first issue (included here) was published on the occasion of the Düsseldorf Art Fair in October 1973. Contributions are from by Jospeh Beuys (2 covers), Marcel Broodthaers (3 covers), André Cadere, Charlier, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Anne and Patrick Poirier, Ulay & Marina Abramovic, Ian Hamilton Finlay and others. JOINT: Paris: Elisabeth, Stepháne & Anne-Marie Rona. 1973 - 1981 NR 39, 34.5 x 25 cm, 48pp. Very slight marking / browning on the odd issue but overall VG++. Early numbers of this journal are hard to find and this early run is not available elsewhere that we know of. The seventh eiition of the Viennese Ackionist/Fluxus art magazine - here with a concentation of films and performance by Valie Export, Kurt Kren, Dominik Steiger, and Peter Weibel, Many b/w images from performances (Export's Body SIgn Action consists of most the performance "Erosion" from 1971. Four internal black on brown paper silkscreens (as page dividers) and blue and black silkscreen cover by Frank Dolch. One of 500 issued. VG+ condition.

DLP, Edition Rene Block, 1982 Two, standard 33rpm LPs in gatefold sleeve with a reproduced image of Maciunas in Gorrila mask. Live recording of the Fluxus-Soiree which took place the Auditorium of the Staatliche Kunstakademie Dusseldorf: the concert was given in the memory of Maciunas who had recently died. Very good cover (although there is a thin 6cm paper scuff top right) with unplayed record. Ref.: "Broken Music" pg 100. JOINT WITH 40 x 31cm, printed plastic bag with the same artwork as the front of the record and verso publisher details. This is signed by boldly by Joseph Beuys in black felt tip on the front. This bag is far more rare than the record and very few examples still exist. Slight handling creases else VG+.

Standard 33 rpm LP record in printed 30 x 30cm gatefold sleeve (with images of Paik, Beuys and Christiansen on the inside) which is the recording of the musical performance by the three artists at the Biennale des Friedens, Hamburg, November 29, 1985.

There is a printed inner sleeve with reproduced drawings by Henning Christiansen.

This is the deluxe edition of the record which was released in only 43 examples with three additional silkscreen lithographs by Christianson, two of which are signed in pen, pencil and one is numbered. All VG+.

There is a surface scuff to the inner sleeve which does not affect the images or text else VG+. Record is unplayed.

Manchester: Aviva Studios, 2025 24 x 17cm, 44pp plus card wrappers. The programme for the premiere performance of Abromovic's huge Blakan Erotic Epic - a four hour continual performance with different areas within the arena where the audience could walk at will. Over 100 actors, musicians and dancers were choreographed to create scenes that reflected original Baltic myths - many of which were sexual in nature (such as bad weather being 'scared off' by women revealing their genitalia to the sky). Text by the artist in English and many red and black illustrations and photographs. Essentially an artist's book as well as programme. VG+.

NYC: New School, 1964 42 x 19.6cm, 2pp announcement leaflet/poster. A performance by Paik, Moorman, Chieko Shiomi, Philip Corner, Dick Higgins, Peter Moore, and others which included Electronic TV & Color TV Experiment, 3 Robots, Pop Sonata, 2 Zen Boxes and 1 Zen Can. This was Paik's first one-person exhibition in the United States and the image on the front of the poster is of Paik's Robot K-456 (taken by Peter Moore). On the reverse is Paik's essay, "Electronic TV & Color TV Experiment." Charlotte Moorman performed ‘Pop Sonata’ for the second time, a piece which involved her removing her jewellery and clothes “before she lay down on the floor to finish the piece, her cello atop her like a lover” This leaflet was sent to Ray Johnson and the ink address on the reverse is in Moorman's own hand. Folded for mailing else VG+. Scarce.
