64 x 49.5cm, black on white silkscreen from an unknown edition. Reproduced sketches by Furnival of corbels (small statuary found on medieval buildings - mostly churches) based on those found in Kilpeck Church near Hereford. The print is signed in pencil bottom right by the artist. VG+.

C. 30,  8cm dia. starch oblates with printed icon and in original transparent bag. The artist references the Catholic tradition of eating a host and it supposedly transforming into Jesus's body. This Oblate is part of the "cannibalistic gesture" and show madonna with a baby girl as an attempt to undermine the patriarchy. Unopened and in VG++ condition.

21 x 17cm, 32pp pls embossed light grey boards. Exhibition catalogue that has elements of being an artist's book - a text by Alan Spence based on a painting installation by Watts in the Old St Paul's Church in Edinburgh. Ten colour images and 9 b/w - the former being of the church and painting and the latter of the artist in the studio. One of 1,000 printed. Near fine.

6cm dia. plastic, metal and paper lapel badge with the title text "THE SPIRIT IN ANY CONDITION DOES NOT BURN" published for the artist's major retrospective in London. VG+.

20.8 x 21cm, 108pp plus card covers. Exhibition catalogue for a show focussing on the role of religion in the work of Joseph Beuys. Essays in German plus many b/w images of works by Beuys and the occasional colour image. Minor discolouring to spine of covers else VG+.

18.5 x 12cm, 186pp. Original wrappers. First edition of this volatile work by the author/artist. Here, Klossowski draws upon his own conflicted history as Dominican novice. The title refers to the proclamation of religious tolerance issued by Henry IV, in relation to the Hugenots (1598). The edict was revoked in 1685 by Louis XIV. One of 1,500 numbered copies. A very good+ example with some marks on wrappers that may be nascent foxing.

19 x 12.5cm, 238pp. Original wrappers. First edition of this well known and somewhat dense essaic work by the fanatical Leon Bloy - a work that continued his obsession with proselytising on behalf of the Catholic church and against rationalism.

This copy is one of ONLY five copies on Japon imperial - in fact this copy is numbered as "2" - and along with the lesser 25 copies on hollande those 30 copies  together formed the total du tete for the publication. This copy is in fine if not very fine condition and is a rare find indeed.

84 x 59.5cm, full colour offset with an image of the then pope Johannes Paul II and a slogan: "In the vatican there is room for 3 billion people, my children!". An attack on the Catholic Church's insistence on opposing contraception. VG+.
