17 x 11.6cm, four part printed folder content of 25 Russian stamps commemorating their space programme with individual cosmonauts and space vehicles. Some of the stamps have been franked. Most of the stamps seem to have been issued in the 1980s although a couple are dates 1961 but may be later publications. It seems they produced 50,000 copies of the folder but the stamps were mostly added afterwards. SOme of the designs are lovely. VG+ but the inside of the folder has a short ink note in Russian on one of the blank sides.

30 x 21cm, black and white silver gelatine photograph from original negative taken at the press conference for Billy Kluver's 9 Evenings initiative where he attempted to include scientists and engineers in the arts to inform artists of new available technologies. John Cage is speaking and one can identify Billy Kluver, Öyvind Fahlström, Lucinda Childs, David Tudor, Yvonne Rainer, Robert Rauschenberg at the top table amongst others.

This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.

15 x 10.5cm, unpaginated (c. 68pp) plus card covers and pictorial full colour dustjacket. A small artist's book with a text by Donachie about her sister's new baby and the unexpected diagnosis of myotonic dystrophy (MD) followed by a trip to Canada to see what help might be given by a team of scientists. The second half of the book consists of colour images from the trip mostly portraits. VG+.

12 x 12 x 5cm, two part hinged wooden box with sliding lid and hook. The box contains 16 x 2.5cm cubes with each face printed in a different pattern in red and white only. The cubes can be re-arranged to make various patterns. Some wear to box with but mostly Ok - glued on label indicating its title.

JOINT:

Three hand made spiral bound books content of red and white patterns which the psychologist would show to the testee and ask him or her to replicate from the cubes. Slight wear.

7 x 10cm, seven unnumbered small opened envelopes which are spiral bound together with green covers - the various envelopes each contain three printed cards (different sizes). Each set of cards are themed and are used to text individuals - the cards usually show a progression (for instance a house being built) and the testee has to order the three cards to show the passage of time. One of the scarcer sets from the Centre de Psychologiee Applique used in the Weschler-Bellevue IQ tests. VG+.

7 x 10cm, 25 unnumbered leaves spiral bound - the various pages are line drawings of faces or block patterns designed to show to the person being tested to elicit an answer. For example some faces are missing pieces and the testee has to explain what is missing. At the end there are some arithmetic tests (in French). VG+

Price is for all three tests in the unprinted but matching box.

21 x 15cm, 20pp plus card covers. Stapled. Artist's book issued as part of the artist's installation in the Swiss Pavilion during the Venice Biennale. Using coloured liquids and lighting the pavilion was turned into a display of new chemical products such as  Neotene, Silicone, Evian, Viagra, Bionin, and Necrion, among other. The booklet is also primarily printed in the pink/greens of the pavilion with abstract images and a text in English by the artist. VG+ although very small traces of rust on some staples.

10.5 x 15cm, 2pp announcement card displaying an ear that was "a living bioengineeered replica of Vincent Van Goch's ear grown from tissue engineered cartilage cell's procured from a direct male descendant and contains natural DNA from Van Goch and Genetic engineered components of historical and synthetic DNA." Verso gallery details. A maile example with a typed address. VG.

24.5 x 15.5cm, 318pp plus original wrappers. The first edition of this extensive memoir by Jacobs who was the first woman to officially attend a Dutch university, to become one of the first female physicians in the Netherlands and the woman who founded the world's first birth control clinic. Later she became a major figure in female emancipation and led campaigns aimed at deregulating prostitution, improving women's working conditions, promoting peace and calling for women's right to vote.

This is the first edition of this book (later reprinted in 1978 by a socialist grouping) and is very scarce in any condition. The spine has lost its ribbon binding (leaving rough patches) and there are stains on both wrappers and some creases and minor edge damage. The pages are printed on cheap paper so there is browning along some edges, however it is solid and complete and an important document of female liberation.

Artist's book which documents the plants found by Gette around Regent's Canal, Chelsea Embankment (Gette spells Chelsea as "Chelsey"), Tower Bridge and Hammersmith (la rive droit!) and "St Pancrase Way" (Pancras Way in E2) in London during a visit to the ICA in 1972. Lists all the plants he found with two b/w images of the landscape. VG+. Scarce early artist's book.
