London: Gallery 108, 1999

7.5 x 19.8cm, 2pp. Announcement card for this first ever gallery exhibition for the group that formed around Billy Childish and soon became known for its reactionary opposition to the YBAs (often suspected to be motivated by Childish's hatred of his former lover Tracey Emin), the Turner Prize and all conceptual art (by which they meant pretty much anything that wasn't a painting).

This card was hand-made by the gallery by rubber stamping the back of a previously printed gallery address card with the exhibition details (in black) and in red 'Private view'. Rare ephemera for an emphemeral group.VG.
