Five early numbers (out of the total number of 46) of the influential and eccentric gallerist's intriguing review. Always noted for her presentations of the newest tendencies on the art market in an unconventional manner, Clert's "Iris Time" serves as both documentation, newsletter, gossip tabloid and catalogue forum for the gallery's artists. And, on every copy, Clert's own image on the masthead posed as a vamp.

All issues in very good to excellent estate with past evidence of neat folding.

22 x 14.5cm, 16pp plus paper wrappers. Exhibition catalogue with a lengthy text by Rene Guilly and one work reproduced in b/w on the front of the book. This was the artist's first ever American show (as noted on the back cover) bringing his Tachiste style to New York. There is a note in ink under the front cover painting noting the size of the work and suggesting it was 80 francs in price (perhaps inaccurately) and a slight paper scuff on the back cover from some past gluing but this is hardly noticeable else VG. A very scarce item.
