The bottom right corner of the poster is torn away and there is a paper scuff on the left corner and tiny scuffs on the top corners else VG. Scarce.

N.p. (Rome): L'Attico, 1973 33.5 x 19cm, b/w offset lithographic poster on thick paper for a solo dance event by the influential Paxton who invented the dance style called "contact improvisation". The performance took place at the famous L'Attico art gallery in its original location. Paxton was a founding member of the Judson Dance Theater and trained with Merce Cunningham and later collaborated with Yvonne Rainer and Trisha Brown. VG+ condition. Scarce.

Manchester: Aviva Studios, 2025 24 x 17cm, 44pp plus card wrappers. The programme for the premiere performance of Abromovic's huge Blakan Erotic Epic - a four hour continual performance with different areas within the arena where the audience could walk at will. Over 100 actors, musicians and dancers were choreographed to create scenes that reflected original Baltic myths - many of which were sexual in nature (such as bad weather being 'scared off' by women revealing their genitalia to the sky). Text by the artist in English and many red and black illustrations and photographs. Essentially an artist's book as well as programme. VG+.

NYC: New York Avant Garde Festival, 1971

73 x 37cm, full colour publicity poster for Moorman's annual festival featuring over 200 artists (all named on the poster) and offering performances and shows in all the artistic disciplines. The festival was based in the 69th Regiment Infantry Armory in Manhattan. The poster has various red hand applied rubber stamp impressions.

This is a mailed and folded copy of the poster. Very good condition although folded for mailing. This is one of the more difficult posters to find.

28 x 33cm. Offset lithographic poster for a theatre event in Ben's Centre D'Art Total on 27th March 1964 which includes "20 happenings", action poems by Ben and Pierre Pontani and an experimental musical concert which included jazz and classical music. Formerly folded but overall VG+. Scarce.

Sunnyside Garden: Sunnyside Garden Ballroom and Wrestling Arena, 1965 30 x 21cm, 2pp mimeograph listing the programme for this performance by Higgins - listed are THE TART with a stellar cast which includes Ay-o, Meredith Monk, Joe Jones, Kawagami and Alison Knowles as well s Philip Corner. The “properties and situations" were designed by Ay-o. After an intermission the audience watched Higgin’s Solo for Florence and Orchestra and Celestrials for Bengt af Klintberg. Al Hansen, Higgins, Knowles, Monk all performed in the latter work. One the reverse there is an extensive “BLURB” by Higgins explaining the works. Evidence of past fioldng but else VG. Rare.

N.p.: n.p., n.d. 30 x 21cm, black and white silver gelatine photograph from original negative showing a number of paper airplanes being thrown into the air from the balcony (the paper planes were made from Fluxus leaflets) at a Fluxis concert in Carnegie Hall in 1965. This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.

This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.
