Poland: self published, 1978
29 x 20.5cm, unpaginated (c. 100 pages) Original card covers with tape binding. An unique handmade artist book where each page is an individual sheet of paper painted on, rubber-stamped, or written - then bound into the wrappers to create the book. One from a series of such books all created as a "daily practice of painting" to appropriate Richter's phrase. At this point in 1978 Wielgosz had only produced around 12 such books although others were planned thereafter. Fine.
LAID IN:
Wielgosz, Andrzej
DICTIONARY OF DRAWING SINGS
Poland: self published, 1978
10.4 x 14.5cm, 2pp promotional card for the series of handmade, unique artist's books which were released under the title of 'Dictionary of Drawing Sings'. Text on back explains the project in English and Polish while on the front there is a b/w photograph of the 12 books realised at that point.
