Antwerp: Guy Schraenen Éditeur, 1973

38 x 38cm (large format) outer folder with four inserts each 38 x 38cm with applied collage (a folded paper airplane by Baj) in such a way that each consecutive plane appears to be flying over the page. Opposite each collage is a printed concrete text by Heidsieck. Paper is heavy card. One the first inner page of the cover is a paper envelope containing a 7 inch single (45rpm) of the title sound poem Portrait-Petales on one side.

This is one of 30 special edition copies which is signed and numbered by both Heidsieck and Baj on a colophon sheet aside from the normal edition of 120 copies without the collages.

This copy has some general light marking to the outside white folder and one small mark on the half-title page else VG+. The spine is slightly folded but that is typical of the entire edition. Very scarce.

12cm, original Agfa reel to reel tape in original 13 x 13cm, one part folding box with hand-written label by Heidsieck. The music on the tape is the master provided by the musician and visual poet for the very first Slowscan release of sound poems in 1983.

Heidsieck's contribution to the release was four works - Canal Street 10 - 3:33, Canal Street 11 - 1:47, Canal Street 23 - 1:26 and Canal Street 24 - 1:59 all of which are on the tape.

JOINT:

Paris: Heidsieck, 20 Mai 1983

30 x 21cm, 1pp typed letter signed from the artist to Jan Van Toorn with details of the recordings and noting the four sound works were not published elsewhere on records or cassettes and were taken from "a set of 50 Ecritures/collages realised in 1973" and "registered" (recorded) in 1976. The letter also references a text about the works in the book "Colloque de Tanger II".

The letter is a little damaged from where it has been torn out of a ring binder and on the back there is a small amount of irrelevant blue ink text. It is also folded several times for inclusion in the tape box.

PRICE IS FOR TAPE AND LETTER TOGETHER.
