Standard, 12'' gramophone record in original gatefold sleeve - a pop music with a band consisting of Indridi Benson, Sigurdur Hrisla Ingólfsson, Pétur Magnússon, and Björn Roth. One of only 500 such records released (originally it was claimed 200 but the cover has a label over the original number and 500 is handwritten its place. 42 x 29.7cm, 8pp including covers. Stapled. Offset. First edition of this artist's book produced by Roth and incorporating work from his family members and Icelandic artists on the occasion of the exhibition 'Dieter Roth Verlag'. The publication was probably intended to be a serial journal but to the best of our knowledge only one issue was ever produced. Drawings by Roth are reproduced and he also designed the cover. Limitation unknown. The front cover which is flimsy has become detached from the rest of the publication's staples - so sadly this otherwise VG item is now damaged. Priced to reflect condition.

29 x 29 cm, unpaginated. Card covers. One of the first edition of this artist's book which was created by the father and son (as with many of the last book works by Roth) in an edition of only 300 signed and numbered copies with a double-page, double mirror drawing signed 'Bjorn Roth, Sept. 84.

We have been told although not confirmed that Dieter Roth did just the first c. 50 drawings in the book alone and from around copy nr 60 there are collaboration works between Dieter & Bjorn, and (at least) from number 200 Bjorn completed the edition. This is number 248.

All is in excellent condition although the original drawing on the final endpapers has a small tear on the top of the left side of the sheet caused by Roth fixing the open book by scotch tape to the work surface and not removing it with the care it should have required - a common fault to a number of these books. Scarce Roth books and the fact that the drawing is by Bjorn rather than Dieter should not detract from a marvellous artist's book (Bjorn's style of drawing is very like his fathers after all).
