Bruxelles: Cogeime, 1966. 30 x 21cm, 4pp announcement card for a group show mostly of watercolours, pencils, gouache, ink, oils and pastel paintings on paper but also for the early presentation of book objects by Marcel Broodthaers. Paintings by Bonfanti, Bruning, Bryen, Cesar, Chagall, Debrem Degottex, Tanouarn, Sonnenstern, Stenne, Jef Verheyen and Van der Wouwer, alongside sculptures by Monheim, One b/w image of a painting by Cesar (Lacis - Arrache) is tipped on inside the card else minimal text. Not noted in the Broothaers literature. VG+ and rare.

Paris: Galerie Iris Clert, 1962 Uniformly, 18.4 x 26.1 cm. 4pp. per. B/w photo-documentation. Small tabloid format. The fifth of 46 numbers of the influential and eccentric gallerist's intriguing review. Always noted for her presentations of the newest tendencies on the art market in an unconventional manner, Clert's "Iris Time" serves as both documentation, newsletter, gossip tabloid and catalogue forum for the gallery's artists. And, on every copy, Clert's own image on the masthead posed as a vamp. This number promotes the "Salon D'Avril" which includes work by Arp, Arman, Bury, Copley, Fontana, Golub, Man Ray, Seuphor, Takis, Trouille amongst others. VG+. Scarce.

19 x 13.5cm, first edition of this work by the para-Surrealist. Frontispiece portrait of the author by Zadkine. A very good if slightly browned "service du press" copy (marked "SP") outside of 1,000 numbered copies. Uncommon.

Paris: Galerie des Quatre Saisons, 1960 44.8 x 28 cm black on orange paper. Announcement poster/political tract for one of the three famous public protestations against the Algerian war, which took place in the form of artist exhibitions. The illustration on the poster is of a public execution by guillotine and beneath it a quotation by Marcel Duchamp: "Il faut abolir l'idee de jugement". The exhibition included works by various surrealists and nouvelle realists including Victor Brauner, Bona de Mandiargues, Camille Bryen, Jorge Camacho, Cardenas, CÃ©sar, Bernard Dufour, Ferro (who was not called yet Erro), Oyvind Falhstrom, Wifredo Lam, Hundertwasser, Henri Michaux, Roberto Matta amongst others. Others (such as Dufrene) played music or read poetry. The poster also reproduces a political tract signed by many of the artists entitled: "Pour le droit de l'homme a disposer de lui-meme". Folded but overall a very good example of an important political action.
