First edition of this memorial volume issued in the year of Joyce's death. Giedion-Welcker and her husband (the architect Sigfried Giedion) entered the Joycean circle in the early 30s, and remained so installed until the author's death. Giedion-Welcker was responsible for the commission of Joyce's death mask (reproduced herein). A VG+ of this scarce homage although the green boards are fading near the margins.
