19 x 12.7cm, 76 pp plus card covers. Exhibition catalogue of this extensive contemporary show which was organised and in part curated by Jorn. His choice included many of the important surrealists that influenced him and the Linien group (Baj, Arp, Matta) alongside many of his colleagues in Cobra (Constant, Alchinsky, Corneille and others). Almost all the artists represented were active in the areas of neo-expressionism or surrealist abstraction. All the paintings selected for this show are reproduced full page in b/w. An interesting and important document showing the influences on Jorn at the turn of the 50s. As a post-script to the catalogue there is a 2pp text by Jorn in Danish. Slight marking to the covers but over all very good. Scarce.
