Every drawing has been hand coloured by the artist using crayons in multiple colours (some of the colours have been abstractly daubed on the front cover also).

This is a single number (nr 4) of a series of such artist's publication released by Dietmar Kirves who also published Art Information also based in Dusseldorf at the same time. The design of the book (especially the cover) reflects that almost exactly of Art Information. This is one of a few, unstated, deluxe copies of the release where the colours have been applied by hand (thus each being unique) and is signed on the cover in pencil by Schwegler. The cover is browned and because it is oversized compared with the inner pages has some edge wear and tear but nonetheless this is a very scarce item (Art Information is hard to find- this publication is virtually unknown despite its common origins and common distribution).

One of only 200 examples - the cover is signed in ink by both artists. VG+ but with two punch holes for ring binder storage. Very scarce.

Oddly according to Kirves this number in the series came out in 1972 but number 2 in the series a year later (and there is the strange numbering on the front also).

Content of b/w reproductions of photographs of a site-specific artwork where Sarkis drew detailed images of dogs on the ground and installed tape recorders playing the sounds of the animals. This number of the series was officially published in Paris for the first time, but still edited in Dusseldorf by Kirves. Stamped on the front cover by Sarkis in red ink. One of 200 issued. Now very scarce.

10.5 x 15cm, 2pp announcement card for an event by Ditmar Kirves and Hela Santarossa at the publishers which also had Klaus Staeck present. The various object multiples and prints byBeuys, CHristo, Rot, SPoerri, Filliou, Thomkins, Staeck Uecker, Rinke, Distel, Weseler and Polke were on view.

This card is a commercially available lenticular print (a 3-d optical illusion) of a sledge in a winter landscape over which the publishers have printed their details on the reverse.

Sadly someone has punched two holes into the card to allow it for storage but it is an unusual and somewhat rare item. We have priced it thus.
