All of the cards - except Lawrence Weiner's - in each set of postcards (each 10.5 x 15cm, 2pp) are altered in some way by the artist concerned.<BR>

Additional to the cards is the exhibition catalogue - 15 x 10.5cm, 20pp.<BR>

All fine in slightly scuffed box in somewhat crumpled in part original silver foil envelope. One of 40 numbered copies in pencil on the outer silver foil envelope. Rare.<BR><BR>

30.5 x 21.5cm, printed outer folder content of three, 30 x 21cm, 4pp colour injet sheets - one each for Phyllidia Barlow, Rachel Maclean and James Richards who represented England, Scotland and Wales respectively at the Biennale. Texts in English and a colour image relating to each. Press release as well as documentation.

15 x 10.5cm, 24pp (self cover) listing all of the British events and shows which include Damien Hirst's Treasures from the Wreak of the Unbelievable with one colour image) and Douglas Gordon. VG+.

Two volumes. Uniformly 22 x 16cm, 220 and 168pp respectively in printed cardboard slipcase. Exhibition catalogue and guide to Glasgow Museum's somewhat flawed (and West Coast centric) survey of 25 years of Scottish contemporary art. First volume is entitled Guide and has individual sections on artists such as Charles Avery, Clare Barclay, Beagles & Ramsay, Christine Borland, Martin Boyce, Steven Campbell, Graham Fagen, Katy Dove, Douglas Gordon, Kenny Hunter, Callum Innes, Jim Lambie, Tessa Lynch, Jonathan Monk, Toby Paterson, David Shrigley, Alison Watt, Richard Wright amongst others. Each artist has a text and one colour imag33e of a work. The second volume is entitled Reader and contains essays and original texts by the artists. Both VG+ in like slipecase.

10 x 21cm, 2pp printed postcard with a typographic design by Gordon (which also promoted a tv broadcast of "Columbo-Prescription Murder!) with the  text:

"MORALS ARE CONDITIONED, LIEUTENANT

THEY ARE RELATIVE,

LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IS TODAY."

to which Gordon has added a small drawing of stars and the words "New York".

On the back is a hand-written note from DOuglas Gordon to a friend comparing art in Glasgow with that in nNew York.

Unique and an early document of Gordon's written soon after he moved to America. The postcard is one of only 500 published. VG+ although it has been mailed and has frankings on the back. The address is hand-written by Gordon. .
