Artist's book which reproduces 1800 single sentences of  "secrets" submitted anonymously by visitors to Huebler's "Variable Piece 4" at the Jewish Museum's 1970 "Software" exhibition. The artist asked audience members for an authentic secret never before revealed each entry was then photocopied and given to another participant as part of an ongoing exchange.

Some mild discolouration to the white wrappers as usually found, the book is now somewhat hard to find. Else VG+.

28 x 21.4cm, 88pp plus card covers. First edition of this collection of minimalist conceptual art drawings. Very slight colouring to the white wrappers but else VG+. Very hard to find.

15.8 x 10.7cm, 2pp printed red on thick cream card. Announcement for a large scale group show of photography curated by Alessandro Vezzosi. Included works by Giovanni Anselmo, John Baldessari, Joseph Beuys, Giuseppe Chiari, James Coleman, James Collins, Jan Dibbets, Gilberrt & George, Dan Graham, Douglas Heubler, Peter Hutchison, Jiri Kolar, Jan (sic) Le Gac, Sol Lewitt, Irs Luthi, Naurizio Nannucci, Dennis Oppenheim, Giulio Paolini, Giuseppe Penone, Arnulf Rainer, Ulrike Rosenbach, Allen Kaprow and others. The card has a horizontal crease and a brown mark on the top right of the card else VG.

Listed are Lynda Benglis, Jon Borofsky, Joel Shapiro, Robert Wilson, Daniel Buren, Douglas Heubler, Jospeh Kosuth, Duane Michals,  Giulio Paolini, Cy Twombly and others. VG+.

30 x 21cm, 6pp b/w conceptual artwork in the form of a postal bulletin with a Heubler's "VARIABLE PIECE 106" - images of 18 mannequins photographed through shop windows on Regent's Street, London and then the nearest person of the same sex was also photographed. 

A mailed example with typed address - folded for mailing. VG+.

VG although glue is starting to lose its hold after 50 years!.

Huebler's work at this time examined indivIdual's perception of the world - later he turned to documenting it 'all' despite the impossibility of that self-imposed task. Scarce. Slight paper loss and pin holes to outer corners but otherwise very good.
