30 x22cm, outer printed wrap around folder content of 15 differnet documents assembled from organisations and individuals taking part in the major two-day "anti-authoritarian" Kaboutier conference in Appelscha.

There are contributions from Dolle MIna 2pp stapled mimeograph on Anti-Autoritaire Gemeenschapsstukken) Constant Nieuwenhuis (2pp stapled mimeograph explaining the New Babylon concept), an off-print on Communes in Nederlandes, an introduction by Harm Zuidema, 5pp mimeograph "Buten- Parlementaire Oppositie Ofwel van Anarchist tot Christen" by Otto Boetes, De Studentenoppositie en het Anti-Autoritaire Onderwijs by Jan Bervoets, De Quakers Als Anti-Autoritaire Godsdienstige Gemeenschap by Otto Boetes, and an offprint De Opmars der Kabouters is niet een vlucht uit de Maatschappij. All VG+.

JOINT: A newspaper clipping from Vrij Nederland from 23 Mei 1970 with a report about the congress. Brouwned but else VG.

Together a very scarce Kabouter document about a lesser reported event with contributions from many of the best known left organisations and personalities.

30 x 21cm, 56pp plus card covers. The programme for a film festival of political films in the popular and influential Cineclub that created a model of politically committed film theatres in Holland and which won a regular audience for non-mainstream protest films.

The listings here include many of the important films of the early 70s including the Winter Soldier (a 1972 US documentary about a media event sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Against the War which publicised war crimes and atrocities by the United States Armed Forces in Vietnam). Other sections (apart from the extensive Vietnam programme of nearly 20 films) including women's liberation, China and Mao, Cuba, "Amerikkka" and student revolt. Illustrated by cartoons throughout by Willem the Provo associated cartoonist. VG+.

34 x 21.4cm, 1pp mimeographed leaflet handed out to call for a demonstration in the form of a a silent procession around the Lieverdje statue. Designed by C. Nuit for Provo this was the 6th Provokatie leaflet (which was often placed in copies of Provo). Previously folded twice for stroage this is otherwise VG+.

All 42 x21cm, pagination varies. Self cover. Six separate numbers of this, the Kabouters' official newspaper, which was financed by an alternative radio station when it discovered it had suddenly acquired 35,000 guilders in its bank account as a result of a banking error. Illustrated throughout. Alternative economic strategies, sexual politics and geographical updates of kabouter actions in the netherlands. Some wear and tear around edges and some minor browning and as usual folded centrally for storage but otherwise all very good. Scarce.

Price is for all 6 as a group. Will split the group if required - do enquire.

42.9 x 30.5cm. Wallposter displaying a large psychedelic drawing of a semi-naked woman produced as part of the campaign to elect Kabouters (Gnomes) to the City Council elections in The Hague. The elections ended successfully with two seats being won. The Kabouters (Gnomes) were the successors of Provo and by winning admittedly only a small number of seats at least showed the spirit of 1966 was not entirely dissipated. At least one other variant design of this poster text is known to exist. Folded in four and with a closed ear at the left-hand edge. Scarce.

61.8 x 47cm. Wall poster displaying a cartoon (of gnomes (Kabouters) produced as part of the campaign to the National Parliament (Tweede kamerverkiezingen) election of 1971. These slightly later elections ended without any seats for Kabouter. This example is folded in eight and displays some creases.

Maastricht: Ontbijt Op Bed, 1967<
69.8 x 24.8cm. 1pp. Steet/wall poster issued by the Provo-affiliated group from Maastricht in the Southern part of Holland. The most creative Provo group who often displayed experimental designs in their journal. This is a very rare poster against "war criminal" General von K. (the poster also advertises issue 8 of Ontbijt Op Bed). Some discolouration and displaying pin holes and a bit wrinkled at the edges but this is a very scarce item indeed.

Amsterdam: n.p. (Squatters' movement),1980.
60.9 x 42.9cm. Wall poster issued by anarchist squatters movement in Amsterdam as a call to protest against empty houses during the coronation of Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands; this resulted in huge riots on coronation day. This example is folded in 4 and has creases and several small tears at the edges as well as two spots of paper loss due to the probably removal of staples, nonetheless a rare item of some importance in the history of the Amsterdam counter culture.

43 x 61cm. single sheet printed in offset with text and royal family crest as emblem. A rare Kabouterstad protest work attacking the joining of marriage of the daughter of the Dutch royal family with the son of a former nazi. Composed of appropriated (detourned) proclamations. One minute closed tear, rubber-stamped former price at top edge, formerly folded and heavily browned in places else a good+ example of this fragile document.

First edition of this critique of the university system written by radical students which argues that the education system is in thrall to capitalist corporations and required major reform.
