A single number of this propaganda sheet published by the Dutch Socialist Party on the 1st May (worker's day) 1945 - only 5 days later the Nazi regime in Germany was to officially surrender but on publication large parts of the Netherlands including Amsterdam and the north were still officially under occupation since the Allies had not attacked fearing too many casualties should fighting occur and expecting a Nazi defeat to happen soon enough as the Red Army and Allied forces pushed on towards Berlin. All articles are as a result anonymous since this was in effect still a clandestine publication. Front page drawing of a worker sending out a rallying call "Herstelt en hertelt en verzamelt Uw scharent". VG oif mildly browned.
