19.7 x 14 x 8.6cm, thick solander card box with tipped on print content of seven 12.1 × 17.8cm offset prints each after a gouache by Lewitt. Additionally there is a book with a cover by Lewitt in which a number of translations of the poem "Irisch" by Paul Celan are printed by Edwin Morgan, Harry Gilonis, Pierre Joris, Jerome Rothenberg, Anselm Hollo, and Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill. This is one of only 100 signed and numbered (by Lewitt) on a colophon card. Very good ++. More than scarce. POA.

9 x 9cm, 6pp gatefold limited edition card issued by Morgan as a Xmas card. The text is translated by Morgan from the Russian and Soviet poet Osip Mandelstam:

The woods are full of Christmas trees

Hot with tinsel, golden, faring;

The bushes harbour toy wolves, glaring

To bring us terror and unease.

This is one of of only 26 copies signed by Morgan and lettered "Z" from the edition. Near fine and unfolded. Rare.

Large concrete poetry broadside with various works by Ian Hamilton FInlay, dsh, Sonia John Sharkey, Ernst Jandl, Josef Hirsal, Augusto de Campos. bp Nicol, John Furnival, Eugene Gomringer, Edwin Morgan and Thomas Clark. Folded with minor tears along folds and some handling creases. A rare visual poetry item which was printed (and probably published) by the London Trigram press.

20.5 x 15cm, 1pp hand typed letter from Morgan to Paul Robertson informing the latter that John Furnival was the publisher of a portfolio of works by Morgan and letting Robertson know that Morgan had retained a signed presentation book dedicated to Morgan on his 70th Birthday so Robertson's offer of returning a copy of the book in Robertson's possession to him was not needed and offering a copy of NUSPEAK as a gift. Signed in ink. VG

A series of translations of Paul Celan's poem, "Irish" by Pierre Joris, Jerome Rothenberg, Edwin Morgan, Anselm Hollo, and Harry Gilonis, and a translation into Irish Gaelic by Nuala N' Dhomhnaill. Regarded as a Lewitt artist's book because he designed the cover. Now scarce despite 500 being printed.

A significant, complete consecutive run of this series of concrete and visual poetic works in poster format. Each number is devoted to and composed by a given individual contributor including Goeritz, Burkhardt, Bense, Dohl, Zukovsky, Grogerova & Hirsal, Cobbing, Finlay, Garnier, Higgins, Kamimura, Morgan, Roth, Schmidt, Schmidt, Thomkins, Vostell, de Vries, Williams and others. Some issues are keenly sought individually including the Filliou where the issue is meant to be folded to create a hat for the owner to wear. Most are concerned with concrete and visual poetry however rather than high fashion. All issues in fine estate.

The introduction is by Kostelanetz and included are works by Raymond Federman, Liam O'Gallagher, Herb Lubalin, the editor, Gay Beste, Robert P. Brown, Ferdinand Kriwet, Robert Lax, Ruth Jacoby, Robert Indiana, John Hinde, Allan Kaprow, Michael Joseph Phillips, Emmet Williams, Patrick Bridgewater, Michael Heller, Tom Phillips, Edwin Morgan, Chryea, John Furnival and many others with biographical notes. This copy is from Dick Higgin's own library and has a signed dedication to Higgins from the poet and artist: "For Dick, With thanks first, for letting us reprint the Cunningham-Glass + much admiration for your work. In friendship Richard Kostelanetz." Slight wear to dj but otherwise a very good and desirable association copy noting the mention of the reprint of work by Philip Glass and Merce Cunningham. A scarce book even without the dedication.

This copy unusually signed by all the six significant contributors. With a wonderful portrait frontispiece and cover illustration by Alistair Gray. Thus rare. Fine.
