Two different button badges both 7.5cm dia. with printed title texts (black on yellow and blue and red on white respectively) and safety pin on metal reverse. A multiple issued during a performance by the artist. The I wasn't badge has some marks under the plastic - perhaps past damp, the You would have stayed badge is in VG+ condition.

21 x 26.3 cm black on yellow card with a text in English, German, and French. The text allows the owner of the print to apologise in the different languages with multiple choice response options. VG+.

10.5 x 15cm, 2pp. Announcement with a colour photograph which has two indented (embossed) circles on the front and verso gallery details. A card which is also an object multiple. The work was in part lent to the show from Francesco Conz. VG+.<BR><BR>

21 x 30cm, 16pp stapled offset b/w programme for the 1980 show. The programme notes a huge number of participants exhibiting art at the New York's Passenger Ship Terminal including Eric Andersen, Ay-o, John Cage, Christo, Philip Corner, Yoko Ono, Ben Patterson, Knud Petersen, Otto Piene, Klaus Groh, Geoffrey Hendricks, Ray Johnson, Milan Knizak, Alison Knowles, Richard Kostelanetz, Takehisa Kosugi, Carolee Schneemann, Mieko Shiomi, Ben Vautier and details of a "Group Hologram Show" and a "Group Audio Show" which included David Tudor, John Giorno, Takehisa Kosugi, Yoshi Wada and others.

Also there was "Six Sure Cycles of Poetry Performances" which included Jackson Mac Low and Opal L. Nations, and "Two Continuous 12 =-Hour Video Tape Shows" which included works by Jeff Byrd, Nancy Holt, Nam June Paik with Charlotte Moorman (Guadalcanal Requiem), Shigeko Kubota, and Les Levine.

These are just a percentage of the huge number of artists who were involved in the Festival and one has to be impressed by Moorman's organisation of such an event. VG+.

58 x 43.5cm, 4pp broadside.  Black on light brown paper. The fifth of the eleven issues of the official Fluxus newspaper designed by George Maciunas in his mix of vintage clipart and photographs and experimental typography and with contributions by George Brecht, George Maciunas,  Mieko Shiomi, A-yo, Joe Jones, Arthur Kopke, Robert Watts. There is a large one page advert for a Fluxfest at the Cinematheqque also with Willem Ridder, James Riddle, Frederick Lieberman, Shigeko Kunota ("See Vagina Painting!"), Yoko Ono, Giuseppe Chairi and others. Folded for mailing as issued and one small paper scuff on the bottom right on all pages else VG+. Very scarce.

32 x 24.3 x 5cm, silkscreened wooden box with hinges and metal clasp content of 8 standard audiocassettes in plastic boxes and labels. A significant highly produced anthology of sound events created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the formation of Fluxus. Works recorded here include Marcel Alocco, Eric Andersen, Giuseppe Chiari, Henning Christiansen, Albrecht d, Jean Dupuy, Robert Filliou, Ken Friedman, Al Hansen, Dick Higgins, Ray Johnson, Joe Jones, Milan Knizak, Alison Knowles, Takesisa Kosugi, Bob Lens, George Maciunas, Richard Maxwell, Gustav Metzinger, Larry Miller, Mieko Shomi, Carolee Schneemann, Paul Sharits, Wolf Vostell and Robert Watts. There are also eight booklets - the first containing texts and images by all artists and a foreword by Jan van Toorn who published and edited the production which is 30 x 21cm, and unpaginated (c.120pp) and further booklets on Robert Filliou, Vostell, Joe Jones, Dick Higgins, Eric Andersen and Paul Sharits as well as a reprint of Henning Chistiansen' Spazio Misikale con Animali from 1984. The booklets are held in a velcro strap on one side of the box, the cassettes the other.

We understand this was one of  the 60 unnumbered copies given to the artists aside from the 200 numbered copies (the cassette inserts are in grey) which was then gifted by Al Hansen to the curator Caterina Gualco. Hansen has signed and dedicated the work to her on the inside of the large booklet.

This is in very good condition + with no obvious damage to contents or the box. There is only one other copy for sale online that we can find and it is much more expensive. Keen sought after.

Performance elements and relics. 63 original 10.7 x 8.9cm, original photographic portraits in the form of polaroids of visitors to an exhibition "Una mostra che non sciuperà la tua giornata" on April 8th 1994 along with 61 9.9 x 9.7cm, coloured (yellow, red, and blue) post-it sheets upon which (at Andersen's request) a visitor has written a question or a remark (usually in Italian). The order of which polaroid and which post-it note was randomised and the person's remarks were not always shown underneath their portrait.

There is an additional polaroid which shows the display of the work at the original museum.

The translation of the show's title is "A show that will not mess up your day". It was later exhibited in the FLUXUS AT 60 show at the Villa Croce in 2022.

There are holes for drawing pins at the top of every polaroid  and post-it note as that was the method of hanging Andersen chose for display. Else VG+. Unique.

70 x 50.5cm, full colour offset in lamination (as issued). Andersen suggests a list of items that the viewer might like to receive:

30 x 21cm, 1pp xerox sheet with instructions to an unidentified "Charlotte" to create an event "BECOME A MEMBER OF ERIC ANDERSEN'S RANDOM AUDIENCE" where a chair was to have the text painted on its back and carried around in Shea Stadium during an  unidentified concert. Charlotte was then to perform with the chair placed in front of her.

JOINT:

16 x 21cm, brown manilla envelope with a typed address to Klaus Groh and a rubber stamp impression of Andersen's return address. To this Andersen has drawn a small image of the word "FLUXUS" which he has signed beneath. Neatly opened.

15 x 10.5cm, 1pp announcement postcard  promoting a boxed edition (Hundertmark's eighth such publication) - lists the contents of the box of which only 50 were issued. VG+.

21 x 15cm, 1pp announcement card and mail art where Andersen circulated self-adhesive labels with his signatures on them with a number which related to the person the label was sent to. VG+. Scarce.
