A deluxe production with rare or unpublished recordings by Ay-o, Jean Dupuy, Robert Filliou, Joe Jones, Emmett Williams, Richard Maxfield, Ferdinand Kriwet, Carolee Schneemann, Allan Kaprow, Charlotte Moorman, David Tudor and others. The recordings are a mix of interviews, sound poetry, music and experimental recordings.

This is one of only 80 such boxes. Mint and unplayed. It went out of print almost immediately.

The programme for a series of plays by artists and dramaturges including Daniel Spoerri (Ja, Mama, das Machen wir), Eugene Ionesco (Das Heiratsfahige madchen), Ferdinand Kriwet (Offen), Gerhard Ruhm (Gehen), Paul Portner (Drei) as well as a short text by each (Kriwet's is more extensive). The introduction of such work was mainly due to the influence of Claus Bremer who was attached to the Ulmer Theater for the period 1960 - 1962. Typographic design.

84 x 60cm, grey and red on semi-transparent paper with a design by Krewit overlaid with his enlarged signature. A show of his bookworks and launch of a catalogue raisonne. VG+.

69.5 x 69.5cm, florescent pink, yellow and green and black silkscreen on thick paper. One of 100 such works -each of which is signed and numbered by the artist in paper. Slight handling creases and minor surface abrasions to the image but overall VG+. Scarce early visual poem.

First edition. 43 x 29cm, 44 pp plus outer cover. Stapled.  The catalogue for the exhibition of Dusseldorf Artists during the 1973 Edinburgh International Festival with original contributions by Beuys, Brecht, Filliou, Knoebel, Palermo, Polke, Richter, Rinke, Roth, Ruthenbeck, Spoerri, Walther and many others in this important vanguard publication.

The (unwieldy) title by Thomkins was chosen because of its palindromic character. 

Noted as an artist's book in both Polke's (nr 13) and Richter's catalogue raisonnes the truth is that neither had anything to do with the design of the publication which was entirely created locally from supplied photographs by an Edinburgh designer who worked for the printers, the Lutton Press - nonetheless this exhibition and publication is also notable for it being Beuys' first British exhibition. The cover of this publication is somewhat marked and browned with possible nascent foxing and the staples a little rusted but internally this is VG+.

A scarce document which was later reprinted by Demarco to try to cash in on its scarcity.
