Verona: Francesco Conz, 1989

133 x 143.5cm, cream and black on screenprint on canvas showing Paik's drawing from 1963 that was originally published in Vostell's De/Collage magazine as a stand alone poster. However Francesco Conz decided to reprint the work in a much larger format on cloth and canvas 26 years later. This is a hors series example of the work which Paik had mounted on a stretcher and gave to a friend Fabrizio with a large handwritten dedication on the left in felt tipped pen. There are slight stains to the work (coffee) and the canvas has been taken off the stretcher at some point leaving various marks and small holes in the excess canvas outside the image. Sort of unique given the dedication.

Price is reduced to account for the marks.

50 x 65 cm. Original photographic print in b/w (photographer: Gisela Scheidler). Titled, signed and dated by Jones on the verso. Most likely a unique print. The image is of the Fluxus composer and artist's young daughter playing a zither that is one of many left hanging from the ceiling - the whole of which was the basis of the installed Fluxus sound-sculpture of the title. Fine estate. Provenance: Francesco Conz Archive.
