Finlay who had published her poetry book "My Friend Tree" as the first ever Wild Hawthorn Press book contributed the back cover image of "SONG/ WIND/WOOD" which honours here Niedecker's love for nature.
Jonathan Williams edited this small delight and there are poems by dsh, Gael Turnbull, John Furnival and others. VG condition.

Finlay who had published her poetry book "My Friend Tree" as the first ever Wild Hawthorn Press book contributed the back cover image of "SONG/ WIND/WOOD" which honours here Niedecker's love for nature.

Each issue explains on inside cover of each issue: "the name of the magazine comes indirectly from a work by Kurt Schwitters; 'A Small Home for Seamen' I have been told that it was one Agnes Weston who founded the seamen's homes in this country and I hope that this magazine will likewise provide some sort of refuge./ Stuart Mills" VG+.
