London: Studio International, 1976 30 x 21cm, 98pp + adverts plus card covers. A single number of this long running art journal here the important special issue on the theme of performance art. This has articles by Caroline Tisdall on Beuys' Coyote aktion in New York and Genesis P-Orridge and Peter Christopherson ("Sleasy")'s important essay Annihilating Reality as well as Mark Segal on Yvonne Rainer and Katia Tsiakma on Hermann Nitsch and Douglas Crimp on Joan Jonas as well as an interview with Klaus Rinke. There are also surveys of performance art in Germany and Holland. B/w images throughout. This is a keenly sought number from the journal but is in below average condition - long tears on the spine and the pages are a little loose but all are present and corners a bit bumped - but this would be double in price if in vg condition. Priced thus.

An unauthorised publication with selections from Burroughs' work and various of essays, cartoons and poems by Simon Strong, Paul Cecil, Caspar Williams, Robert Hill, Marco Polo, Naomi Rioches "and the ghosts of Brion Gysin and Hassan/Sabbah") Published by a press associated with Genesis P-Orridge and the Temple of Psychick Youth. VG condition. Quite rare. JOINT WITH P-Orridge, Genesis SPLINTER TEST. IMPLICATIONS OV CUT-UPS & SAMPLES AS QUANTUM MEMES. AN ESSAY BY GENESIS P-ORRIDGE. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF TIME TRAVEL THIS TEXT ARRIVES ON 3.2.1994 = 23 AND IS THUS INCLUDED AS A FOLD-IN (Sic) Brighton: Temple Press, 1994 21 x 15cm, 4pp. A short essay by Djinn on the influence of Burroughs cut up techniques in music and art along with some rather incorrect (sorry Gen) remarks on quantum mechanics. VG. Again rare.

167 x 100cm, digitally printed on cloth using conservation inks. A photomanipulated image of Christ with the more usual Sacred Heart replaced with a heart-shaped blood drain used during the plastic surgery that P-Orridge undertook as part of his/her mutual body modification artworks with Lady Jaye Breyer. Only six copies were produced - each signed and numbered by Genesis bottom right in gold pen. A large and impressive work from the former member of Coum Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV. Fine.

15 x 21cm, 2pp. Announcement card for a group show with a collage on the front (possibly by P-Orridge) and on the reverse list of participants including Rita Ackermann, Louise Bourgois, Genesis P-Orridge, Chloe Sevigny (who partially curated the show along side Ackermann). A mailed example with slight creasing due to the postal process but overall VG.
