41.5 x 33cm, black on cream thick paper - offset lithograph with one of Luca's abstract works with most of the image made up of short lines, this is perhaps Luca's first ever lithograph. Signed and numbered in pencil bottom left and right - number 42 out of 50 copies. SOme handling creases and a closed tear about a third down from the right hand side of the paper. Prices thus on condition.

Four numbers, uniformly 27 x 21cm, 88pp, 96pp, 108pp and 132pp respectively. The penultimate surrealist journal which received Breton's approval (and arguably the last as  L'Archibras was published posthumously to Breton despite the latter's assent to the publication). Contributors include Alechinsky, Auduin, Benayoun, Bedouin, Dax, Ivsec, Luca, Mansour (the contributions), Mayoux, Nouge, Svanberg amongst others. Illustrated throughout in b/w by the likes of Toyen, Parent, Camancho, Klapheck and others. All in very good condition although nr 6 has some minor chipping to the wrappers.

28.3 x 21.7cm, 8pp. First edition of this very scarce artist's book with the title text, a poem and collage text - all with the aim of stripping literature of modern myths and references and thus (apparently) renew the possibilities of language.  Very good although some 8cm tears along the spine of the outer sheet top and bottom. One of 500 copies. Scarce.

18 x 13cm, 94pp. Five textual illustrations by Jacques Herold. Typo-pictorial wrappers. First edition. One of 530 numbered copies of this text work by one of the leading proponents of Surrealism in Romania, as accompanied by a series of characteristic images by Herold. A fine example.

20.7 x 10.7cm, 2pp. Invitation card for an evening with the poet with the showing of various films relating to the latter's life and works. Organised by Jacqueline Cahen, Bernard Heidseick and Jean-Jacques Lebel. Minorly marked at the top of the card.

21 x 13.5cm, 1pp. First edition of this text (actually titled: "Nous vous donnon le mot") by Luca again published as a publicly available tract. Limitation unknown. Very good.

Organized by the radio station RFT (Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française) with the collaboration of Domaine Poétique this was a significant event bringing together Francois Dufrene, Robert Filliou, Bernard Heidsieck, Jean-Clarance Lambert and Gherasim Luca in a theatre setting. Mise en scene by Jean-Loup Philippe. The event was free to enter.
