Drakabygget: Bauhaus Situationiste, 1962

24 x 17.8cm, 98pp plus red paper wrappers. A double number of this artistic journal founded by Nash and Jorn (who were brothers) after the former was excluded from the International Situationists by Debord along with the SPUR grouping. The magazine was subtitled Tidskrift for konst mot atombomber, p var och politiker ("Magazine for art against atomic bombs, popes and politicians").

The new organisation formed by Nash was called the "Bauhaus Situationists". The journal was named after the Drakabygget farmhouse in Southern Sweden where Nash lived and turned into a commune.

This number has contributions by Gordon Fazarkerly, Asger Jorn, Goran Johansson, Spur, Werner Haftman, Jens Jorgen Thorsens, Jorgen Nash, Henry Miller and others and is illustrated in b/w with new collages, drawings and found imagery.

A VG+ example.
