40.5 x 30.4cm, vintage b/w photograph of the “steel table” action that took place in the “Creamcheese” Dusseldorf art space. The image is of Beuys and Herzfeld in the performance space with the latter sitting on one of the painted chairs. VG condition. The photographer's stamp of Winter Bohnen is on the reverse of the image.

40.5 x 30.5cm black on white silver gelatine photograph of Beuys gesturing with his hands during a performance (the Action Handaktion / Ecklenaktion, Creamcheese in Dusseldorf, 1968). This is a vintage print produced at the time by Bohnen who was a collaborator of Ute Klophaus. This is likely to be an unique print at this size and to the best of our researches not as yet reproduced anywhere.
