25 x 25cm,102pp, original wrappers. The thirty-first of the Kwadraat-Bladen books produced by Pieter Brattinga for Hilversum Jong & Co as a way to promote their high-end printing business. The book displays nearly 200 drawings made by colleagues of Steendrukkerij de Jong & Co on the occasion of the firm’s sixtieth anniversary.  The initiative was proposed by Dick Bruna, Hein van Haaren, Paul Mertz and Sir Paul Reilly but Brattinga did not regard this as one of the Kwadraat-Blad series although it was released officially as such. Probably the most boring of the entire series. VG+.

30 x 21cm, 1pp covering letter from the company signed and deed 4 April 1972 explaining the book’s background. VG.
