Nice: s.p. (Vautier), 1973 30 x 21cm, printed outer folder content of loose signatures (14pp) plus 2pp addendum by Henry Flynt. A theoretical tract by Vautier on painting and his fellow artists including Mosset and Boltanski, texts on "being against art" and an interview. Typical of Ben's practice at the time the publication was intended to create debate (and was even a provocation). JOINT AS ISSUED: Flynt, Henry ON SOCIAL RECOGNITION. Nice: Vautier, 1974 30 x 21cm, 2pp. A rejoiner to Vautier by the Fluxus artist and musician Flynt. Written in English. Together an important Fluxus publication.

N.p.: n.p., n.d. 25 x 20cm, black and white digital photograph showing Henry Flynt amongst others protesting "Snob Art" outside Judson Hall in 1964. This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.

9.6 x 166 cm. Content of three offset glossy black on white sheets (printed on both recto and verso) vertical scroll rolled together. Composed of text and 7 half-tone photographic illustrations. The “editorial committee” consisted of "Chairman: George Maciunas. Cross Section: Nam June Paik , Emmett Williams.” A scarce anthology in object-multiple format. Typographic design and layout by George Maciunas. Content of a montage of scores, performance photographs and adverts for Fluxus publications, et. al. Contributors include: Eric Anderson, Ben Patterson, La Monte Young, Jackson Mac Low, Dick Higgins, Daniel Spoerri, J. J. Lambert, Henry Flynt, Yoko Ono, et. al.. Includes the definition of the hyper-word "Fluxus". This example is a little creased and rubbed and the price reflects this but still an attractive and fragile piece (rolled, as issued).
